I'm 15 and need to lose about .5 in of body fat. I lift and do cardio workouts throughout the week, however I'm currently not in any kind of sport. I'm only drinking water and eating better as well. Any estimation on how long this goal might take?

Walking on the treadmill, which would allow for more body fat loss and a leaner look?
If one were trying to get a "6 pack", which would be more beneficial to a leaner stomach...
Walking at a very steep incline on the treadmill with heartrate at 70-80% (1 hour) burning 400 Calories
Or:
Walking at a regular pace on the treadmill, lower heartrate 50-60% (2 1/2 hours) burning 700 Calories?
Overall question, less calories higher heart rate, or more burned calories over much longer duration?
