How much should I be feeding them?
I have two cats--one is about 9 pounds and one is about 14 pounds. The skinnier one is both younger and more active. The overweight one is supposed to be pretty big, he`s either a norwegian forest cat or a maine coone mix. I am trying to get them both to lose a little weight. Right now I am feeding wellness but only because blue buffalo wasnt at the pet store I was at. Wellness is too expensive for me. How much should I be feeding them a day. I heard that they are only supposed to lose 1/2 a pound a month for it to be considered healthy weight loss.

Reality set in when I could barely fit in the desk I was so embarrassed. My boyfriend always makes fun of my weight. When he gets mad with me he calls me fat cow and big sloppy skank and disgusting. Since September 2010 I have lost 35 pounds with weight watchers and exercise. I weigh 280 pounds now and I want to lose 115 more pounds to get to my goal weight of 165 pounds. I know for my height 5'5 I should strive for 150 but that's UNREALISTIC for me. Hopefully I will continue to maintain 175 with diet and exercise.It's just depressing because after losing 35 pounds I still look huge. Now I have to lose 115 more pounds. Is losing 100 lbs hard and how long will it take? I have been losing 1 1/2 to 2 lbs per week. Is this considered healthy weight loss?
