What Are the Healthy Ways to Lose Weight for Someone 100 Pounds Overweight?
Those diet and weight loss pills, low-carb diets, low-protein diets look very promising, but they have not helped, in fact, you may have even found you've actually gained even more! You are eating your meals of celery sticks and the occasional cracker with dismay - and so you "cheat" one too many times and then put your body through tumultuous physical work-outs. These are not healthy ways to lose weight, nor are they effective. Let's look at three factors here:
- How much time you put into this
- Not so much what you eat, but how
- How you are exercising - if at all
Healthy Ways to Lose Weight Secret #1 - Patience is a Virtue!
What does time have to do with healthy ways to lose weight? It's letting your body lose fat, not muscle. Trying to lose 10 or more pounds each week is not healthy! Here's why crash diets and weight loss pills are not healthy alternatives...
- Diet pills cause imbalances because many who use them do so in hopes of maintaining current lifestyles.
- Some diets entail depriving the body of essential elements, such as protein - resulting in muscle loss.
- Diet pills come side effects, some of which are dangerous to health. They're just not worth the risks!
- Malnourishment from faulty diet fads leaves you vulnerable to disease and illness for lack of micronutrients.
- Some weight loss programs, including some of the most popular, are not only unhealthy for you, they're unnatural!
Healthy Ways to Lose Weight Secret #2 - How you are dieting!
Let's take a look at the "Twinkie Diet.″ This is a college professor trying to prove a few pointers here. The test shows that weight loss is possible even with a "junk food diet." Whilst this proved effective in weight loss, this is certainly not healthy ways to lose weight! One must remember that, even though all the data shows favorable results, remember that this was a short-term experiment and is NOT recommended!
The best thing you can do for your body is to eat right and keep the junk food to a bare minimum - if at all! The only reason why cutting out junk food is unrealistic is because we've become so attuned to being bombarded with commercial messages promoting the stuff! Engaging in such a diet is not one of the healthy ways to lose weight - period - and that goes for many other fad diets as well!
Healthy Ways to Lose Weight Secret #3 - Proper Exercise
One of the healthy ways to lose weight does include exercise! You must, however, exercise properly. Very often, just keeping active is all you really need in the way of exercise for effective weight loss. The human body was designed to labor (in moderate amounts, of course) and it was made for walking. We were not designed to live sedentary lives, and this is the main culprit for weight gain!
Walking is one of the best things you can do. Note that in other countries, the average person walks about 4 miles per day. Compare that to one-tenth of a mile for Americans. Many times, Americans try to exercise until it hurts! Mastery does not come overnight, but Western thought dictates instant gratification - which can even prove deadly for some trying to engage in massive weight loss! There are healthy ways to lose weight, and not so healthy ways to do it! I highly recommend proper exercise - in moderation, through conditioning and naturally.
I have found the best, time-tested healthy ways to lose weight! No weight loss pills, fad diets and other unnatural methods for Daniel! How 'bout you? Visit http://self-hypnosis-weight-loss.info for more information.

Any diets recommended to drop a few pounds quickly before surgery?
First let me say I know that the only healthy way to lose weight is through proper diet and exercise. However, I tore my lateral meniscus which as caused me to be less active. I was overweight prior to the knee injury but now I am less active because of the pain. I would like to lose a few pounds before the surgery as I think it will help with recovery. Looking for some diet recommendations. I will have access to swim a couple days a week.

Want to lose 13lbs by mid-november?
I am 139lbs and I would like to get down to 126lbs so I am hoping to lose about 13lbs.
I don't eat breakfast, the only reason I don't is because I cannot eat right away after I get up, it makes me feel a bit sick and I don't have time to wait around to eat. So, ignoring this.. What is the healthiest way to lose weight for mid-november because I want to be ready to pile weight on over christmas.. xD
