Do you have the following ideas of taking diets when trying to lose weight?

*I should not eat too much carohydrates.

Many people do not understand what to eat to lose weight. They think that in order to lose weight they must take extreme measures to do so. Sadly, the only thing extreme measures do in most cases is cause the person to fail. The good news is that there are simple changes you can make in your diet that will lead to weight loss in a much healthier way. A person who loses weight by eating healthy instead of taking extreme measures will most likely keep that weight off longer than a person who loses weight through extremes.

We all know that what we put in our mouths directly affects our weight, and therefore our health. If we want to lose weight the healthy way, we have to learn to eat a sensible diet with a balance of food groups such as fat, protein and carbs.

For the same reason, you must eat a balanced diet that will fill your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs. It is unwise to cut out complete food groups from our diets. This type of dieting usually does not lead to prolonged weight loss and can actually hurt our health rather than help our bodies become healthier.

With the South Beach and Atkins trends in the past several years, many potential dieters are under the assumption that in order to lose weight, they must cut out all carbohydrates. In reality, it is the type of carbohydrate you eat that makes a difference. While simple carbohydrates such as sugar and white flour can spike the body's blood sugar levels and leave the dieter feeling lethargic, complex carbohydrates give our bodies its energy. Consuming whole grains is an excellent way to consume carbohydrates that benefit our bodies.

The same rules apply to fats. The truth about fat is that our bodies actually need it in order to survive. The key is eating good fats such as nuts, olive oil and flax seed instead of animal fats.

By doing simple things such as reading food labels before dec iding what to eat to lose weight can make a huge difference in the amount of calories a person eats in a day. Many foods have hidden calories in them that you may not even realize your are consuming them if you do not read the labels.

What to eat to lose weight is a question many of us have. There are foods that are healthier for us than others, and if eaten in moderation, can help us lose weight.

How to lose weight on my thighs? 10 points!?
Im trying to lose weight in my inner thighs. im short so it looks chubby. I dont have time to exercise because i got school than pick up my siblings n we walk home n ihave to take care of them because ma parents come home late . my p.e class we dont do anything except stretch >.< Anyways usually after school i would go and get a subway sandwich than walk home. is walking home a good exercise? sometimes i feel sore in my legs because its about an hour walk. what are some exercises i can do in bed? or when im watching tv with my siblings? i used to be a dancer and i was in good shape but i had to quit cuz of no time :( i was thinking do they have videos of like dance lessons or sumthn like ballet on the internet? sum dance exercises? ugh what are things not to eat? i really wanna lose weight in my inner thighs and i need to before i leave for my trip to hawaii in the end of march! thanks 4 help!

Need strength to lose weight!?
So basketball season just ended. I've had to keep up on my protein so I wouldn't be weak 4 practice (I don't eat meat), so I've gained a few pounds. I think a lot of it is muscle, but i am up to 155lbs. I'm almost 5'8". a few years ago, I really was aneorexic, I was down to 110ish but my family and friends have helped me, but lately the pressure is coming back again. How to lose weight before&during summer, please help me/:?
Okay well. I'm in 7th grade, and honestly the last time I weighed myself i was 172 pounds. I'm like 5'10. Yeah I know, that's really bad, and unhealthy, but that's what i am asking you. How to lose weight, help?
Hi there! I really want to lose some weight and I have some questions about it. I am about 5' 7", and weigh around 125 pounds. I have a flat butt, skinny legs and arms, yet my stomach is pretty fat. I am super insecure about it, and I am ready to change! I feel so insecure about my stomach, and my confidence would go up a million percent if I got a flat stomach. I have some abdominal fat and love handles, that I despise! How do I get rid of that? Also, what are some ways to stay motivated with weight loss? I heard that it takes you 2 weeks to see a difference in your body, and I know by then I'll lose my determination. I eat pretty unhealthy, like chips, white bread, fried stuff, etc. but I really need some healthy foods! Please give me ideas of healthy breakfasts that are easy and quick to make (I'm always rushing in the morning, usually skip breakfast), healthy lunches and dinners. I always eat super late, so after what time should I stop eating for the day? Also, how much should I work out? I live in a condo, so I have access to a gym with treadmills, elliptical machines, and more. The only two days I can probably go are Monday and Friday, so should I go then, each week? In addition, what exercises should I do outside of the gym (in the morning after waking up, before bed). Those are all my questions, I know there's tons. But, thanks SO much for taking the time to read this and maybe leaving an answer. I need all the help I can get!
