Do You Know What to Eat to Lose Weight - Or What Not to Eat to Lose Weight?
Do you have the following ideas of taking diets when trying to lose weight?
*I should not eat too much carohydrates.
*I should cut out all the fats.
* I should eat less everyday.
If you want to know more about these ideas, read on.
Many people do not understand what to eat to lose weight. They think that in order to lose weight they must take extreme measures to do so. Sadly, the only thing extreme measures do in most cases is cause the person to fail. The good news is that there are simple changes you can make in your diet that will lead to weight loss in a much healthier way. A person who loses weight by eating healthy instead of taking extreme measures will most likely keep that weight off longer than a person who loses weight through extremes.
We all know that what we put in our mouths directly affects our weight, and therefore our health. If we want to lose weight the healthy way, we have to learn to eat a sensible diet with a balance of food groups such as fat, protein and carbs.
For the same reason, you must eat a balanced diet that will fill your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs. It is unwise to cut out complete food groups from our diets. This type of dieting usually does not lead to prolonged weight loss and can actually hurt our health rather than help our bodies become healthier.
With the South Beach and Atkins trends in the past several years, many potential dieters are under the assumption that in order to lose weight, they must cut out all carbohydrates. In reality, it is the type of carbohydrate you eat that makes a difference. While simple carbohydrates such as sugar and white flour can spike the body's blood sugar levels and leave the dieter feeling lethargic, complex carbohydrates give our bodies its energy. Consuming whole grains is an excellent way to consume carbohydrates that benefit our bodies.
The same rules apply to fats. The truth about fat is that our bodies actually need it in order to survive. The key is eating good fats such as nuts, olive oil and flax seed instead of animal fats.
By doing simple things such as reading food labels before dec iding what to eat to lose weight can make a huge difference in the amount of calories a person eats in a day. Many foods have hidden calories in them that you may not even realize your are consuming them if you do not read the labels.
What to eat to lose weight is a question many of us have. There are foods that are healthier for us than others, and if eaten in moderation, can help us lose weight.

Could you help me with my workout plan?
I already am working on my diet and considering I'm so short it's kind of confusing what the right thing is to do, at the moment I'm between 900 and 1,200 calories a day but I'm not losing weight and I want to lose about 5 pounds.
As far as my workout, I go through phases of being really into working out and having a bit of a fall out and then getting back into it. So here is what I was thinking.
Pilates (45 mins) 3x a week
Hula Hoop (10 mins) 6x a week
I'm 5'1 and 107 pounds (I want to get to 100 pounds)
I'm 32B-25-34 and I want to go to 32B-22-32
Is it possible to get these results with that? if so how long?

I Ate One Meal and Gained 3lbs! Why??!?
I've been on a diet for about 2 weeks now and lost 6 lbs. I went from 156lbs to 150lbs. I'm trying to get to 140lbs by end of February or early March. I'm exercising twice a week and eating healthy and consistently:
Morning: Cup of Quinoa with half and Avocado and Feta cheese. Drink is water but I put Fruits and Vegetables 2Go in it.
Lunch: Light salad
Dinner (Before 6pm): Some kind of veggies and tofu.
Well, I went out with my husband a couple nights back and pigged out. I got a nice big salad, 3 little cheese pizzas, a muffin, chili stew, and about 2 servings of ice cream with caramel sauce on top.
Got on the scale next day.... 153.8lbs. Ugh!! Okay, water weight? But, it's been over 2 days!! Shouldn't it be gone by now?! I've been drinking 10+ cups of water! Why have I not lost weight?!
Yes, I was constipated, still kinda am, but is all soft stool and only a little comes out at a time (sorry for being graphic)!

I wanna go on a diet but not lose weight?
Ok, so I am 14 and I wanna start working out. So with working out I should probably start eating better, but I don't know where to start. It would help if you could share an iPad/iPhone app that helps me with this, if not, anything else would work, like a website or just from your personal knowledge.
Thanks

Why am i not losing weight? I wanna see bones.?
This question makes me sound crazy, but it's exactly what i'm feeling,
I eat pretty good & clean most of the time,
Like for dinner i eat steamed fish with rice(260 calories)
lunch i don't eat most of the time, sometimes i'll have a sandwich (140 calories)
For breakfast i have a protein shake thing (210 calories)
I get one and a half - three hours of dance daily, and i add some strength exercises/cardio to that, umm i use the eliptical sometimes.
My problem is sweets, my weakness. I need tips on how to fight the cravings.
Also i'm 146 pounds and 5'6. I've lost like 2 pounds in a month, that's it ._.
I don't want my legs to touch, and i want my hip bones to stick out more, i also kinda want my ribs to poke out a little, and my collar bone. (i know i sound weird, but yeah
How can i burn all this fat off my body?
My UGW is 105 pounds.
do you think if i could fight the temptation of sweets the weight would come off faster?
Anybody tips&tricks or secrets, or whatever you can tell me?
Thanks <3

Is this a good amount of calories to be eating?
I'm female, 5'5, 150 pounds, and somewhat athletic. I'll be 14 in March. I'm a dancer and I'm in dance classes 7-9 hours a week, along with the occasional walk around the block, or jumping on the trampoline for a while. I eat an average of 1500 calories a day. I'm trying not to eat sweets as much as I do, but other than that I would say I eat pretty well. I would like to be 135 pounds, so am I eating too many calories? I'm just maintaining my current weight, I can't seem to lose it. I know I can because I got down to 135 about 8 months ago but I lost will power and my weight went back up as my good eating habits went down.
Why am I not losing weight?
If anyone has any tips or a good amount of calories for me to be eating in a day, that would be really helpful.
Also, I know muscle weighs more than fat does, and that I'm not actually that fat but I'm pretty muscular, but how can I feel good about myself? Sometimes it can be hard in a world filled with stick thin models and the temptations of large or unhealthy meals.
Thanks in advance!
How do I eat more then? I have trouble eating more then I do. I eat lots of fresh fruits and things and that keeps the calories really low, yet I get filled up. I don't want to eat empty carbs that aren't good for me.
Does anyone have good, healthy snacks that taste good yet aren't too fattening or anything?
And am I still going to be able to lose weight if I eat more calories?
