Is a 2 day fast a good way to start a diet?
I am determined to lose my baby weight. I'm exercising regularly, and eating healthier.. but I was planning on starting a much stricter diet to lose weight faster. Someone told me it is good to fast for 2 days and then begin the diet on the 3rd day. Is this a good idea? I've always heard your body thinks it's starving when you fast and you'll just gain all the weight back as soon as you eat, but is that true if when you go back to eating it is on a diet?

i'm on a strict diet and tomorrow involves alcohol HELP!?
so i'm on a strict diet to lose weight fast (dont give me lectures i've been the doctors and it's safe) and tomorrow my daily intake to have is 500 calories. but tomorrow night is a big party and i like to drink and all my other friends will be...i really want to stick to my calories of 500 for that day though...i know not drinking is not an option cos i wont be able to resist in a party environment! but is it okay if i dont eat all day and then drink alcohol of a night? will i feel very tipsy fast and a bit ill? :/ thanks x
