Vegetarian weight loss quickly?
I've been a vegetarian for about a year now and I really need to lose some weight (talking about 50lbs.). I am a fencer, but I'm on break right now, so not much activity there (suggestions for that welcomed, too). I find that I eat a lot of fried food and veggie burgers and A LOT of bread and potatoes. I don't think it's exercising because my weight is the same as when I was actively fencing 3 times a week. Can anyone give me some pointers on what to eat (again, vegetarian) so that I'm not stuck with salads? I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong or what I need to cut/add. Also, what is normal weight for a 5'2" girl? No rude answers, please. Thank you.
