Swimming and rowing are also effective ways to lose weight around the mid-section.

Resist the temptation to eat at night before going to bed. Anything you eat right before you go to bed just gets stored away in your fat cells. Instead eat three hours before you go to bed. If you get hungry try eating an apple or some crackers.

modeling waist weight loss helpp?
The bottom line is I'm not fat I'm pretty lean but im trying to pursue a career in modeling and my waist is an inch or two too big for runway. I have a very thin waist but its a bit muscular and a trainer told me that I have too much muscle on my waist and the only way to lose 2 inches if to stop working out, so how do I stay in shape and what do i eat to lose the two inches?

I'm 14, 5'7, female, and weigh more or less 148 lbs. So I've recently started P90X Classic last Friday & began to eat healthier. I figured if I love about 2 lbs/ week, I'd be 8 lbs lighter (140) at the end of the month. Is it possible to lose 2 inches in one month? And what exercises besides P90X should I do to lose 10 lbs at the end of the month? (I've already lossed 1 - 1 1/2 lbs). Thank you! *workout i mean

My breasts make me look so much bigger than I really am?
I'm 16, and I have 38F breasts. I am a little overweight, but it's all just chunk on the front of my belly, I have a pretty slim looking waist. Weight loss is coming along, but slowly as it's very difficult for my to exercise. My breasts however, make me look so much wider than I am! I have to buy shirts big, or else they won't fit over my chest, but the end up "tenting" over the rest of me. If I add a belt to show off my waist, it only makes my chest look bigger and my head look smaller. If I buy a top that fits my waist well, it looks like the chest area is going to burst at any second. Tank tops look okay, but they never fit right over my chest unless they are pulled down low, and that always looks terrible with my cleavage hanging out. I'm a modest person, and I'm tired of having to choose between looking fat and feeling comfortable or looking good and feeling like a whore. Does anyone know some tricks or good places to buy bras that will make my breasts look smaller? Or ways I can compliment my body shape without emphasizing something else? I should note, I have considered breast reduction. But in the long run I am not too sure about it, I'm terrified of the possible complications and I think I'd honestly rather suffer having painful breasts than risk looking deformed.
