After weight loss surgery?
I am getting either the gastric bypass or the lap band sometime in Feb. I have to quit smoking first which I am in the process of doing. I am confused between the two and which one I want. I want to lose weight fast, but I also want the chance to try and eat normal again after I lost all the weight. (Having the lap band and removing the saline). I have only been obese for 7 years since my first child, I gained 80 pounds with her, plus two more kids after her. I have always been athletic and at 140 I look to skinny. Also I make cakes and decorate them, and if I can never taste my cake again, I think that will suck. Which surgery is best? If I get the lap band and work out a lot and watch what I eat can I lose weight faster, and with the lap band will I one day be able to eat a couple small bites of cake or Reese's or drink a little soda? Please help me with this life changing chose I need to make.

I know this is unhealthy but will it make me lose weight fast?
Before I get the "that's unhealthy" lectures. I don't care. I want to lose weight fast.
