Dieting tips for an active but over weight 14 year old teenage boy?
i am 14 years old and overweight. I am 5 ft 10 inches and weight 220. i am very active and participate in multiple sports of which i am very good at. Diabetes runs in my family as well as obesity. i work out just to find out that i am gaining weight! i will weight myself one day and a week goes by and i gain 5 pounds! it becomes extremely frustrating. i have confidence and remain positive but my weight is definitely an issue that lingers in the back of my head. i do well with girls and great at sports, but my appearance with my shirt off isn't the best. If anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it. i am looking for a weight loss and exercise plan that will show results quickly.

Change in period??? HELP?
I have been on a steady birth control for about 6 months and lost 10 pounds recently. I am on a strict diet and exercise every day. I am not due to have a period for 2 weeks but am having one now. WTF? Is this because of my weight loss and exercise or just normal? With I balance out again? Thanks! I have been regular for 6 months. I have not missed any pills and take them the same time everyday.

So I've been on a habit lately (probably because it's winter) where I come home from school, eat some food, take a three hour nap, then get up and go to bed. How do I stop myself from getting addicted to vomiting?
Alright, so I know that purging after eating can lead to bulimia and other eating disorders. I'm pretty educated in the nutrition, weight loss and exercise departments. I eat healthy every day, I exercise 5 or 6 days a week, etc. However... for the last two months, when I eat something "unhealthy" like.. for example, tonight, I had a huge craving for chocolate, I decided to have some chocolate yogurt ice cream but then I felt so guilty I decided to purge. I know this isn't a healthy attitude but I can't help it and it's becoming more and more regular... I feel soooooo much better after purging. How do I stop myself? Thanks in advance!

I have a few questions about weight loss and exercise...?
Okay, first off I'll give you my info: 13 years old, 119 pounds, 5'2. In december i was in the 150's and i just decided to totally change my lifestyle. I now eat much healthier and exercise a lot and lost over 30 pounds. My questions are: 1. How much do you weigh or did you weigh at 13? 2. i know the BMI says i'm at a healthy weight, but in your opinion, what do you think an ideal weight for me is? 3. It's getting nicer out and i'd like to start exercising outside. the only problem is, without the elliptical/bike/ treadmill i have no idea how many calories i'm actually burning which means i don't know if i'm actually exercising enough when i go outside. what are some good ways for me to burn the same amount of calories outside? like how long should i run, jog, walk etc? 4. Also, what are some of the best exercises to tone the whole body? Thank you! :) P.S: please no spammers or people who write one line answers that say something like "ur fat" or "eat donuts" i really want some honest answers. I'm not writing this for attention or compliments. i honestly want to know the truth. not what that BMI thing says because they aren't the best way to find ideal weight.
