Weight problems has a predominant effect on children's life. It causes many health risk problems like over weight, cancer, osteoarthritis, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and breathing difficulties. It also causes social and emotional problems. Children suffering with weight problems also suffer the same weight problems in their teenage. Treatment for weight problems in children: Weight problems in children can be treated by planning a successful weight loss program. . What are good eating habits to lose weight? What can I do to exercise?
I have a weight problem, it seems to run in the family, both my parents have been overweight in their childhood. I need to lose weight, I am almost 200 pounds! What are some good eating habits/diets I can go on? How can I not be tempted immensely by junk food and overeating? What can I do for exercising as well? I don't have any fancy workout equipment and the fitness centers and stuff need an expensive membership and are for people 18 and up. I also hate running. What is the ideal amount of fruits, vegetables, grains etc. I should be eating per day? My friend tried a no sugar diet and once she ate part of a cookie she felt sick..would this be a good idea?

My 6yr old daughter weighs 92lbs. None of her older siblings nor I have a weight problem. What do I do?
We all eat healthy. All 4 of her older siblings are below average or average in weight. She is tall for her age but her weight does not fit in with our family history. Could it be medical? She has an appointment with her pediatric doctor next month.
I control her portions and "junk food" in our house consists of bananas, oranges, yogurt, fat free/sugar free jello. I cook dinner almost every night and we always have plenty of veggies and proteins. I am so worried about her health and happiness. She knows she "looks" different than the her siblings. She isn't overfed. 7yr sister 49lbs, 8yr bro 60lbs, 12yr sis 85lbs, 20yr sis 5'5" 118lbs, I am 40yr 5'9" 138lbs. She makes comments about being "fat" and it breaks my heart.
I use turkey instead of hamburger in recipes, we eat salads, I use low fat items when I cook. I hope her doctor can shed some light on the problem. She is very active and doesn't sit around playing video games or watching TV.

Feeling Insecure about My Wife's weight loss? Last time she lost weight, she cheated on me within months?
I know this sounds crazy, but Let me explain and try to make you understand why I feel insecure about this... All of my life, I have been in pretty good shape, naturally.. I never in my life had a weight problem... When my wife and i first started dating, she was very " Curvy ".. Great legs and everything.. I loved it, I was more lean and fit I guess... A few years after marriage, and two kids later, my wife started packing on some serious weight... It never made her look bad in my opinion, but I didn't give her a hard time about it... She fell into a slight depression.. For about 1 year...
After a year, she joined some kickboxing class, started going 3 hours a day.. Literally, she lost about 60 lbbs in one season.. She looked amazing, this was back in the summer of 2009.. Most men would be happy, and I was happy for her because she quickly stopped being depressed... Yet here's the problem, she suddenly starts dressing more provacatively, not too much a problem there, then she starts taking secret phone calls at 2 - 4 in the morning.. I begin catching her sitting in her car in the garage talking on her cell phone late at night, then quickly hanging up and claiming to be on with her sister. One night I asked her why she went to the garage, she said she went to the gas station and just pulled up.. Yet she was wearing a nightgown, I said " in you're nightie"? She just sat there frozen...
Shortly after that, I discovered my wife had a on going affair, with this young punk.. Some young guy who was living in his grandmothers basement, had no job, nothing.. Wife had blown her life savings running around with this guy.. When I found out and confronted her, she blamed me for her affair, said it was because I didn't give her enough attention.. I left home for a few months.. I needed time to clear my head.. During that time she nor I called one another.. We finally agreed to move back in with one another 4 months after the affair and 3 months of me being gone...
When I returned home, everything was great, my wife was acting like she did when we first started dating, it was easy for me to ignore the affair, I don't hold grudges.. I know most people would never go back, but I loved my son's, and admit I was still crazy about my wife.. One thing I noticed though was again she had started gaining weight .. I know in my mind, the real reason for her affair, was due to the weight loss, she was not used to getting the attention, or having the looks.. I can't really blame her, but she didn't use it wisely...
At this point, my wife has started losing lots of weight again, and again, she's begining to act like she did before.. No late night phone calls, but I can tell shes acting funny. She's telling me way in advance about plans she has to do stuff with friends.. Like last night she told me she's going out weekend after next with her girlfriends.. Who makes plans 14 days in advance to go out?? I just don't like who she is when she's riding high.. Shes more loving and mature when shes' down.. When Shes' up, she acts like Queen B.. Any thoughts?

12 year old, trying to lose weight?
I'm 12 years old and im extremely overweight. I'm about 5"10 but im somewhere around 170-180 pounds. I've been battling with a weight problem for years. It doesnt look like im overweight since my height, but trust me..i am. I would like a reasonable exercise program, and eating plan. I have a treadmill and bike machine. I dont wanna go to crazy, but just enough to make me lose a load of weight by summer of 2013. I know thats a long time, but its really hard for me to lose weight. Please don't make fun of my weight, I would really appreciate it.. Thanks!
p.s just all i need is exersises i can do everyday just to shed a little off every week or so. nothing extreme. And if possible, just healthy eating options and such.. thanks!
