Can the Air Force turn him away?
My boyfriend is 19 and wants more then anything to join the US Air Force. He went and met with a recruiter today, and was told that because he measured in at 5'11" he has to lose at least 20lbs. He weighs 210 now, and the guy is in fantastic physical condition. He wrestled in high school and is built like a brick wall. The recruiter told him he would have to get down to 197lbs before he enlisted. Then lose the other 7 before he goes to basic training. He wants to join as soon as possible though because this all he wants to do. I guess i'm just wondering if they can really reject him for not meeting weight requirements but being able to pass all physical requirements? maybe i just don't understand the process well enough. can they really tell him no? i'm worried he's going to make himself sick trying to drop this weight quickly. is there any way around this? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

Underweight and need to gain weight quickly!!!?
I'm a 16 year old, i am about 5ft 7 and weigh 7st 10lb i eat around 3000 calories a day but still i am under weight. I would ideally like to be around 9 - 10st.
